Rossi and Edwards demonstrating team spirit in Doha

Valentino Rossi today grabbed pole position for tomorrow's Grand Prix of Qatar, as he set new pole position record of Losail Circuit. Valentino Rossi edged Australian youngster Casey Stoner for just 0.005 seconds. Colin Edwards completed success of the Fiat Yamaha team by taking final position in first row.

Toni Elias was best Honda qualifier today in 4th place on Bridgestone shoed Gresini Honda, in front of Dani Pedrosa and Suzuki's John Hopkins. Loris Capirossi will head third row tomorrow, in front of de Puniet in 8th place. Reigning MotoGP world champion, Nicky Hayden, found speed to qualify only as 9th. Marco Melandri completed top 10 qualifiers in Doha today.
