2010-06-05 Valentino Rossi breaks leg in FP2

Fans of Valentino Rossi in Mugello were shoched today to see their favourite crashing from the second free practice and breaking tibia on his right leg, which ruled him out of the Italian Grand Prix. Rossi was on attempt to beat fastest time set by Jorge Lorenzo, who was fastest in FP2, when Yamaha highsided him and caused this injury. Andrea Dovizioso was second fastest in Mugello, while Dani Pedrosa took third place in FP2. Despite crash, Valentino Rossi stayed in 4th place.
