Valentino Rossi celebrates fastest time in fp1

After finishing last two races behind his team-mate, Valentino Rossi seems determined to regain confidence on home soil, as he set fastest time of 1:49.751, which is already below lap record set by Casey Stoner in 2008. However, Jorge Lorenzo is still right behind Rossi, just 0.369 seconds behind Rossi. Loris Capirossi was pleasant surprise in 3rd place, 0.239 seconds further behind Lorenzo, at the same time last rider within a second of a time set by Valentino Rossi.
