2006-11-19 Rossi finishes Rally New Zealand in 11th

Third and final day of the Rally New Zealand saw MotoGP superstar Valentino Rossi ending 11th in overall standings, which means that Rossi improved his position in final rally day for two places. Rossi missed top 10 finish for only 18.8 seconds, which is great result for Italian who appeared only second time in tough WRC competition.
Best result for Rossi in last day of Rally New Zealand came in last stage, which he ended in 9th position. Rossi also made two more 10th places in same day. After this short Rally excursion, Valentino Rossi will return to preparations for 2007 MotoGP championship, in attempt to try to get back championship title next season. Rossi will return to testing of his 800cc machine in Jerez, Spain, on 28th-30th November.
