Max Biaggi in World Superbike test in Losail, where he set second fastest time

After being temporary occupied with Christmas and New Year, MotoGP and World Superbike fans are now impatiently waiting for next events in their favorite championships. While holiday season was time to spend some time resting with family and friends for riders, for engineers it was time to made improvements on their machines in order to get competitive edge over their rivals. Our impatience will soon come to an end, as major MotoGP and Superbike teams will continue testing of their 2007 spec machines.

World Superbike riders will open testing season in Pirelli Development Test, which will take place from 13 to 15 January at Phillip Island, Australia. This will be last test for WSBK riders before season starts on February 24th at Losail circuit in Qatar. In last test, that took place in Losail, Troy Bayliss set fastest time, followed by WSBK newcomer, Max Biaggi, and ex Superbike champion, Troy Corser.

MotoGP riders and teams will start 2007 testing season on January 22nd in Losail. In last 2006 MotoGP test that took place in Jerez, best rookie of the 2006 season, Dani Pedrosa, set fastest time of the test in front of Valentino Rossi. Losail MotoGP test will see Team KR making debut of their KR chassis with Honda RC212V engine, with all big teams attending this important session.
