Rossi and Biaggi - Signed vs unsigned riderAs always, as end of MotoGP season approaches, rumors about rider team switches are becoming often. For sure, this season is not different from others, as there is already few confirmed transfers, as well as few just rumored. As we have seen in previous seasons, everyone waited for Valentino Rossi to make his team decision, and now they can act.

Suzuki announced that they have extended their contract with young American rider John Hopkins for another two years, which is maybe good for Suzuki, but for Hopkins current state of development does not promisse to much fun. Second place in Suzuki is still not reserved, with many sources being almost sure that Kenny Roberts Jr will be on his way out of Suzuki at the end of the season.

Jeremy McWilliams has returned to MotoGP paddock for Brno race with Team KR, after they lost KTM support. How many chances he will have to ride this season, it is still unclear, as forthcoming part of the season brings expensive flyaway races, so it is possible that he will ride only once more this season in season finall race in Valencia.

Only man that constantly challenged Rossi for race wins in last few years, Sete Gibernau, is rumoured to move to Ducati in 2006. Repsol Honda has signed Hayden and Pedrosa for 2006, and how much money will Gresini team prepare to pay for Gibernau, it is unknown fact, so it is to be expected for Gibernau to move do Ducati. Some rumors are saying that Capirossi is staying with Ducati, some that he is going to Honda, but it is most likely that he will stay where he is. This leaves Checa without ride, but we are sure that he will manage this situation somehow...

There is also an rumour that Valentino Rossi will ride in one man team in next season, which will be backed by Alice. In this case, it is highly possible that Yamaha will lost Atladis (owner of Gauloises) support and sponsor some other team, possibly Gresini, who may line up Melandri and Toni Elias.
