Exciting qualifying sessions announced great race, with two Ducatis in two top positions. Despite second row start, Rossi has once more easy cleared his way to the front in just few laps, and started to gain advantage over Biaggi in second place, finishing 6 seconds ahead of him at the end of the race. 2003-04-05 Japan MotoGP: Session spoiled by weather Qualification practices for Japan GP were spoiled by poor weather, which was kind of not dry and not wet. Teams simply couldn't find right set-up for their maschines due those strange track conditions. For the second time this year, motorcycle race for Championship of Serbia and Monte Negro and Championship of Balkans took place at the Vrsac airport. Race was organized by team "Dijamant" from Arandjelovac, and it gathered around 10.000 spectators.
