2008-05-17 Edwards rises standards in third free practice

Colin Edwards took Dani Pedrosa of the throne in Le Mans today, as he set fastest time of the event, also being only rider to go under 1.34 mark. Valentino Rossi improved from yesterday to set second time of the day, in front of Dani Pedrosa, who was 3rd fastest. Casey Stoner stayed in the top of the timesheets in 4th place, in front of Andrea Dovizioso. Jorge Lorenzo, who shown fantastic performance yesterday, suffered second crash in two days, but was lucky again as he escaped without injuries.
