2009-05-16 Dani Pedrosa on Le Mans pole
News overview:
Dani Pedrosa took pole position at Le Mans circuit in his flying lap, dethroning Jorge Lorenzo by just 0.005 seconds. Both Spanish riders were on hot pace, as well as third rider on the grid, Casey Stoner. Valentino Rossi was on the top of time sheets in early stages, but in the second part of the session he had to dig deep to find his way to the 4th place on the grid. Andrea Dovizioso will start from the middle of the second row, while Colin Edwards will complete second row.
