Casey Stoner takes kayes of BMW in JerezThree MotoGP champions took top three positions in timed qualifying session in Jerez today, with reigning MotoGP champion, Casey Stoner, setting fastest time and taking keys of BMW sport car. Casey Stoner edged his closest rival Valentino Rossi by significant margin of 1.3 seconds in wet conditions. Nicky Hayden was 0.205 seconds further behind Rossi, just 0.014 seconds in front of Kawasaki's wet weather specialist, Anthony West.

Rookie Andrea Dovizioso made great result by taking 5th spot on provisional grid, in front of Honda coleague, Shinya Nakano. Loris Capirossi was fastest Suzuki in 7th place, in front of de Puniet and Guintoli. Marco Melandri completed top 10 qualifiers in Jerez today, almost 3 seconds behing pace-setting team-mate Stoner.
